NIA Management Team - Amela Ucol

National Vice President, Client Integration

Amela Ucol has been with NIA since inception of its operations in 1996 and played a key role in pioneering the establishment and development of NIA’s call center services. She became Vice President of Call Center Operations in 2000 and moved on to become National Vice President of Internal Operations in 2004.

In her current capacity as National Vice President of Client Integration, Ms. Ucol draws upon her vast experience and deep knowledge of NIA operations to oversee all aspects of UM implementation activity, ranging from new client installs to incremental business growth and change requests for existing clients. Ms. Ucol collaborates closely with NIA’s Call Center, Clinical Review, Information Technology and Provider Network Operations to meet client business requirements and achieve total customer satisfaction.

Prior to joining NIA, Ms. Ucol managed administrative services and operations for Vitalog Monitoring, Inc., a designer, manufacturer, and international marketer of sleep monitoring and diagnostic equipment based out of the Silicon Valley. While at Vitalog, her responsibilities also included oversight of administrative services for its sleep disorders center located at Stanford University Medical Center. With over 20 years of front line global customer service and operations management experience, Ms. Ucol’s widely diversified background includes various management positions held in the fields of high-end cosmetics sales and marketing, and international airlines customer service.

Ms. Ucol holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the Far Eastern University, Philippines.
